Tina Barrett

Director/Farm Financial Consultant

I am originally from Hordville, Nebraska (North of the Interstate between York and Aurora) where I grew up on a family farm. The operation consists of mostly irrigated corn and soybeans. I certainly learned a lot about the diversity of agriculture when I married a Panhandle native where farming is so much different than where I grew up!

I passed the Enrolled Agent exam in 2009 which allows me to represent clients before the IRS. I currently practice with a full client load offering accounting, tax preparation, W-2 & 1099 preparation, full payroll service, bill pay, and farm financial analysis. NFBI specializes in farm analysis and farm taxation, working with clients throughout the great state of Nebraska.

My wife, Tina, and I are part owners of NFBI. We have four daughters! In our spare time (however much there may be) we love taking road trips and have driven to all 48 lower states with our kids. We also stay busy with school activities and enjoy attending Nebraska volleyball games. I also very much enjoy helping on our family’s farms. Harvest is my favorite time of year and I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to help family, friends, or clients at harvest time. One of my favorite places to be is in the seat of a combine or tractor!
